The Georgia Masonry Institute (GMI) is committed to the growth and success of our industry through promotion, education and innovation. Our goal is to promote masonry products as the preferred building and landscaping system.
Georgia Masonry Institute (GMI) was formed in 1985 with the approval of the Georgia Concrete & Products Association (GC&PA) Board of Directors. Various activities related to masonry or paver promotion are directed by the Masonry Promotion Council, a committee of GC&PA member companies, consisting of one representative of each company that manufacturers masonry or paver products in Georgia.
GC&PA Associate members, who are considered by the council as "major sponsors or investors," having contributed the equivalent of a one-machine member, may be approved as voting members of the council. One representative of the GMI will be selected by the group to serve as their GC&PA Board representative.
